〜末（に）
Meaning
Expresses finally arriving at a result after a long time or process. As in 「悩んだ末に」, it states a conclusion reached after due time and consideration.
Examples
- 何度も話し合った末に、計画の中止を決めた After discussing it many times, we finally decided to call off the plan.
- 悩んだ末、留学することにした After much deliberation, I decided to study abroad.
