Meaning
Cites two examples and indicates that not just those but the whole is so. Emphasizes that it is so everywhere, as in 「手といわず顔といわず」 (hands, face, everywhere alike).
Examples
- 子どもたちは手といわず顔といわず、泥だらけになって遊んでいた。 The children were covered in mud from head to toe, playing without a care.
- 昼といわず夜といわず、工事の騒音が絶えない。 The noise from the construction never stops, day or night.
