N1

〜(か)ろうが〜(か)ろうが/〜かろうと〜かろうと

Meaning

A concessive-parallel expression using adjectives. It states "whether A or B, the result or attitude does not change either way." Two opposing adjectives are often placed side by side. The adjective stem + 「かろう」 (the う of conjecture) is repeated, taking the form 「高かろうが安かろうが」「暑かろうと寒かろうと」. 「が」 and 「と」 are almost synonymous and interchangeable. It is written-language-like and somewhat stiff.
