〜からといって

Meaning

Expresses that, even though there is such a reason, it does not necessarily follow that the natural conclusion holds; this is stated afterward as a correction. It raises a seemingly reasonable ground while stating that the ground alone is not enough to reach the conclusion. Followed by a negative-toned statement.

Examples

安いからといって、買いすぎてはいけない Just because it is cheap does not mean you should buy too much.
若いからといって、無理をしてはいけない Just because you are young does not mean you should push yourself too hard.
一度失敗したからといって、あきらめることはない Just because you failed once does not mean you should give up.
