〜も〜ば〜も

Meaning

Expresses listing two things of the same kind side by side, in the sense that there is this and also that. Verbs and i-adjectives take the form 「〜ば」, while nouns and na-adjectives take 「〜なら」. Used to list both good and bad things.

Examples

彼はお酒も飲めば、たばこも吸う He both drinks and smokes.
この店は値段も安ければ、味もいい This shop is both cheap and tasty.
世の中には、親切な人もいれば、冷たい人もいる In the world, there are kind people and there are cold people.
