〜次第

Meaning

Expresses moving on to the next action immediately once something is realized. Meaning 「〜したらすぐに」 (as soon as), it takes the completion of the prior matter as the point to begin the following action. Used as in 「決まり次第、連絡します」.

Examples

準備ができ次第、出発します We will depart as soon as preparations are complete.
詳細が決まり次第、お知らせいたします We will notify you as soon as the details are finalized.
先方に着き次第、電話をください Please call me as soon as you arrive.
