Meaning

Takes up a familiar person or thing as a topic and emphasizes dissatisfaction, criticism, or exasperation toward it.

Examples

1. うちの息子ときたら、休日は一日中ゲームばかりしている。 As for my son, he plays video games all day on his days off.
2. 最近の若者ときたら言葉遣いがなっていない、と怒る高齢者は多い。 Many elderly people complain that young people these days have terrible manners.
