Meaning

Means "even just doing ~" or "even ~," expressing that merely thinking of something stirs strong emotions such as fear or disgust. Mainly attaches to a limited set of verbs like 「想像する」 (imagine), 「考える」 (think), 「思い出す」 (recall).
