〜なりに／〜なりの
Meaning
Indicates that, according to a person's or thing's level or position, there is a way or result befitting it. Used as in 「自分なりに」 (in one's own way) or 「子どもなりに」 (in a child's own way).
Examples
- 新人は新人なりに、精いっぱい努力している。 The newcomer is doing his very best in his own way.
- 子どもには子どもなりの悩みがあるものだ。 Children have their own worries.
